Turn shut off valves to the off position on outdoor hose bibbs during winter months

Know where the main shut off water valve is in the house in case of a water emergency

Be careful to not use abrasive or harsh chemicals when cleaning plumbing fixtures

If on a private well, always check circuit breaker first if no water to house

Don’t place foreign objects in toilets. If toilet needs plunging, this will result in billable service call even if under warranty.
